One artist who was particularly vocal about Mill's prison sentence was Jay Z. In a Facebook post on Monday, the music mogul called out the justice system for its unfair treatment of another black man.
And Mill - whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams - was arrested again in NY back in August for recklessly driving his motorcycle.
Mill, born Robert Rihmeek Williams, was convicted on drug and gun charges in 2008 but released in 2009 under a five-year parole agreement.
In 2015, his girlfriend at the time Nicki Minaj promised judge Genece Brinkley that she would keep him on the straight and narrow after lawyers argued that he changed his travel schedule without court approval and had missed a drug test.
Additional court cases though have seen Mill spend five months in prison in 2013 and his probation was extended for almost a decade. Last month, he pleaded guilty to reckless driving charges in New York City.
"The sentence handed down by the Judge-against the recommendation of the Assistant District Attorney and Probation Officer-is unjust and heavy handed", he wrote. "She said, 'I'm serious.' He refused to do that".
Google Is Adding Wait Times For Restaurants Because It Follows You Everywhere
Google says that you should start seeing this new addition show up for "nearly a million" sit-down restaurants around the globe. This could come in particularly handy for those bars and restaurants that don't take reservations (looking at you, Monk's ).
These are just the latest probation violations for Meek.
He was skating on thin ice after being found to have violated the terms of his parole on drug dealing and gun possession charges on multiple occasions.
JAY-Z is supporting Meek Mill amidst his shocking 2-4 years prison sentence for probation violation calling the sentencing "unjust".
