Yet, even with its controversy-winking title, Reputation is probably the least-gossipy release of Swift's career.
Much of Reputation also concerns a dude, but the difference this time is that, for the most part, they're not break-up songs that look back in anger and regret. It's that musically she seems so proud to have thrown herself wholly into a style of assembly line machine-made pop that obscures the gifts for melody and song craft that turned her into a country, and then pop, superstar in the first place.
After Harris and Swift broke up, Harris was reportedly "trashing" her to other people. That's the story of Reputation, and the British actor Joe Alwyn, whom Swift has been spotted with over the past year, is the man at its center. The "ocean blue eyes" Swift sings about on Gorgeous nearly certainly belong to Alwyn, a motif that repeats onDancing With Our Hands Tied ("Deep blue, but you painted me golden") and Delicate ("Oh damn, never seen that color blue").
Taylor Swift seems to be feeling quite proud of her new album.
Congress demands petroleum products, real estate be brought under GST
In New Delhi , the Congress party demanded that petroleum products, real estate and electricity be brought under the tax's ambit. Earlier in a tweet, Gandhi said India needs a "simple" Goods and Services Tax , not a "Gabbar Singh tax".
Cover art for Taylor Swift's upcoming album, "Reputation", expected November 10.
And on that note, it looks like Swift might be letting her new lyrics do the talking, especially on this track.
Rupert Murdoch twice discussed CNN with AT&T CEO
Turner Broadcasting, which includes TNT, TBS and CNN , is one of the most profitable divisions of Time Warner. Several Democratic senators warned the deal would lead to higher prices and fewer choices for consumers.
She's wise, though, to close things out with "New Year's Day", a breathy piano ballad that largely strips the layers of production away and give her loyal fans a glimpse of their heroine and her beau holding hands in the back seat of a taxicab and headed off together on what she "can tell is gonna be a long road".
Then, it's West's turn.
"It was so nice being friends again / There I was, giving you a second chance / But then you stabbed my back while shaking my hand / And therein lies the issue / Friends don't try to trick you/ Get you on the phone and mind-twist you / And so I took an axe to a mended fence".
And in the biggest Kanye shade throwing moment of all, Taylor puts her spin on a line from Kanye's track "Runaway" with the lyrics, "Here's a toast to my real friends / They don't care about that he-said-she-said / And here's to my baby / He ain't reading what they call me lately / And here's to my momma / Had to listen to all this drama / And here's to you / 'Cause forgiveness is a nice thing to do / Haha, I can't even say it with a straight face".
Pensions - Articles - Closing the gender pay gap is a crucial first step
According to campaign group the Fawcett Society, it could take as long as 100 years to drive down the disparity in earnings. While Wales (8.3%) and Scotland (11.1%) fall below the United Kingdom average, London has the largest gap at 20.7%.
This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things may be an enjoyable slice of pettiness, but the album's crown jewel of gossip is Getaway Car, which sees Swift in full storyteller mode as she chronicles using one doomed relationship to escape another.
