In the comics, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel was a test pilot who gained super strength and the ability to fly after being caught in an explosion with a Kree device. In his secret identity "Walter Lawson", Mar-Vell befriended Carol Danvers, and he was present during the accident that transformed her. The resulting adjustment imbues her with the superpowers of strength, energy projection, and flight.

Larson previously said that some Captain Marvel fans won't be satisfied with her take on the character.
Interestingly the movie is planned as a prequel to most of the other Marvel movies, as it will be set in the 1990s. In the previous year, Law shifted to television playing the lead role in HBO's The Young Pope and playing the main villain in Guy Ritchie's King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. He'll also be seen in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, playing Young Dumbledore opposite Johnny Depp (ugh) as Young Grindelwald.
It'll release shortly after Captain Marvel in 2019, though there have been rumblings that a select number of costumed crusaders will cross over into the Larson-fronted spinoff. He is also still attached to appear in a third Sherlock Holmes movie with the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Iron Man, Robert Downey Jr.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
