Do you feel relaxed, excited, energetic, lazy or what?
There's an urban myth that gin makes you sad and most people probably dismiss it as exactly that.
The study is published as the Scottish government announced it will introduce minimum pricing for alcohol on 1 May next year in a bid to combat binge drinking. 53 percent of the people who took part in the survey revealed that they felt relaxed after drinking red wine. Thus, it was concluded that different types of alcohol have the same effect on people, regardless of their cultural level, social group and country of residence. The response of the participants showed that there was a huge variation that was going on inside their bodies. "Someone who wants to relax might choose to have a beer or a glass of wine".
"The odds of feeling the majority of positive and negative emotions also remained highest among dependent drinkers, irrespective of setting".
