Academy-award winning actress and social activist Susan Sarandon, who got in trouble with Hillary Clinton supporters in 2016 for refusing to endorse the candidate, has been forced to take precautions including changing her phone number after receiving threats from "Hillary trolls" who blamed her for the election loss. "We would still be fracking, we would be at war [if she were president]".
Because while the actress isn't particularly impressed with our new POTUS' performance in Office, she still doesn't think Trump was necessarily the greater of the two evils in the 2016 presidential election.
This was one of the main complaints about Hillary from the Sanders wing of the party, i.e. she was considered too hawkish because of her past support for the Iraq War.
Sarandon, who said she doesn't refer to herself as a feminist because people associate the label with "strident b--hes", called it "counterproductive" to be angry. And she really, really, REALLY disliked Hillary Clinton. "But he didn't go all the way because of big pharma", she said.
12-year-old boy shot dead, 5 teens wounded in Cleveland
A 12-year-old boy was killed by a stray bullet during a shooting near his father's beauty supply store in Cleveland. The alcohol store proprietor and his 12-year-old child went outside to perceive what was occurring.
"I'm not attacked from the right at all", Sarandon added to the outlet.
"I got from Hillary people, "I hope your crotch is grabbed", 'I hope you're raped.' Misogynistic attacks", she said.
Susan Sarandon is no fan of Hillary Clinton's. "It wouldn't be much smoother", Sarandon said.
FiveThirtyEight's Dave Wasserman makes it clear: in the three states in which Trump won the Electoral College vote where he was not expected to win - handing him the presidency - Stein's votes, had they gone to Clinton, would have given Hillary the White House.
Supreme Court to hear Hadiya today
She was on her way for Delhi, for the in-person hearing at the Supreme Court on coming Monday, in the alleged "love jihad" case. Earlier in May, the Kerala High Court had annulled the marriage between Hadiya and Shafin Jahan on the petition of her father.
The actress told The Guardian over the weekend that Clinton was "very, very risky", and that "we would be at war" if she had been elected.
"She would've done it the way Obama did it, which was sneakily", Sarandon continued. I certainly can't envision her going much beyond what Trump did in any case.
Nope. Sarandon noted to the outlet: "Look what happened under [former President Barack] Obama that we didn't notice". He deported more people than have been deported now. "I didn't advocate people voting for anything". Voters making less than $50,000, whom Clinton won by a proportion of 53 to 41, accounted for only 36 percent of the votes cast, while those making more than $50,000-whom Trump won by a single point-made up 64 percent.
