There is no limit to the number of Vending Machine items that can be purchased in a given match. With a recent slew of problems that have affected the game from server issues to game related bugs like the shotgun critical damage glitch, Epic has chose to slow its schedule and release a new patch every two weeks. Marketed as a somewhat sillier Battle Royale game (because, come on, Easter egg grenade launchers?), Fortnite has gotten a lot more fans than its original concept, building fortresses to survive against zombies, would have ordinarily. Common items start at 100 materials, for example, while legendary items will set players back 500. You can tell each type of vending machine from a distance, and each one contains three items. Notably, they allow you to trade extra materials for weapons. The locations are now spread out all over the island map and can be accessed on both the interior and shoreline of the island. You can use your pickaxe to help sort through the machine's options. They don't always appear in the same locations, but we have a guide to finding Vending Machines. Players will still get new features every week without the need for an update. That means that as long as you haven't fired your weapon recently, aren't moving, and have the enemy solidly in your target reticule, you'll hit them without fail. These simply are not buffs for the weapons.
