Accused Toronto serial killer Bruce McArthur has been charged with a seventh count of first-degree murder, as police announced that the remains of three of his alleged victims have now been identified. McArthur had already been charged with the first-degree murder of six other men who are believed to have died between 2010 and 2017.
Those remains have been found in planter pots at a home in midtown Toronto where McArthur worked and stored his equipment.
McArthur, 66, is set to appear in court this morning, just hours before Toronto police scheduled to provide an update on the ongoing investigation.
McArthur, a self-employed landscaper, was arrested on January 18 and has been charged in the deaths of Selim Esen, Skandaraj "Skanda" Navaratnam, Andrew Kinsman, Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Mahmudi and Dean Lisowick. He has also been charged in the killings of Selim Esen, Majeed Kayhan and Dean Lisowick.
