Several thousand Gazans gathered for a third consecutive Friday of mass protests yesterday along the border with Israel after violence in which Israeli forces killed 33 Palestinians and wounded hundreds of others.
Protesters waved Palestinian flags - and others set fire to Israeli ones - while chanting pro-resistance slogans along the border fence.
"The Israeli authorities must put an immediate end to the excessive and lethal force being used to suppress Palestinian demonstrations in Gaza", Amnesty International said on Friday.
Organisers call the rolling protests the Great March of Return.

Demonstrators burned Israeli flags and raised Palestinians ones.
It has pledged to stop attacks, damage to the fence and infiltration bids, and says there have been attempts at all three.
