A former White House employee is causing chaos for US President Donald Trump, releasing juicy details about her time working with him in a tell-all memoir. There's thirty assistants to the president right now.
That's according to a person with direct knowledge of what Manigault Newman has described as a multimedia "treasure trove". In one from August past year, she makes mention of "fake news", but then proceeds to catalogue a series of achievements by the president in a manner more enthusiastic than combative. "But there is really no real commitment to diversity in the White House, and he's unapologetic about it because he's completely contradicted the commitment [to blacks] he made during the campaign with 'what do you have to lose?'", she added. The president also did not tweet about Manigault Newman's comments on Sunday, instead focusing his latest social media tirade on a piece in The New York Times.
Trump admitted he wasn't the one who came up with the concept, but did say it would be "the highest rated show on television".
